UOD, July, 2026, University Press Office (UNPO) | The University of Duhok has proudly launched the inaugural issue of UOD Newsletter, the University's official monthly publication. Issued by the Directorate of Media and Public Relations through the University Press Office (UNPO), the newsletter serves as a strategic communication platform that documents institutional achievements, showcases academic excellence, and highlights UOD's impact in education, research, innovation, international partnerships, and community engagement.

Published in English, Kurdish, and Arabic, the monthly newsletter supports the implementation of the University of Duhok Strategic Plan (2023–2038) by strengthening institutional identity, enhancing transparency, and increasing the University's international visibility.

UOD Newsletter is produced under the leadership of Chief Executive Editor Ismat M. Khabour and Chief Editor Fatima Mahmood Ali, with editorial contributions from Maher Taher Salih, Mehvan M. Salih, Photographer Ali Habib Habib, and Designer Bawar Mohammed Sidiq.

The first issue features updates on UOD's progress toward institutional accreditation through the Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE), internationally recognized research achievements, sustainability initiatives, and highlights from the University's colleges, centers, and strategic projects.
