1. The Organizational Structure of the Center
The center consists of the following basic bodies:
First: The Constituent body:
This body consists of the following gentlemen whose names:
1. Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, president of the University of Duhok, adopted the idea of establishing the center from the very beginning and made a great effort to make this center see the light by obtaining official approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan region (Ministerial Order No. 8542 Dated: 8/5/2024).
Dr. Salwan Rasheed Shengali, a diplomat at the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who came up with the basic idea and provided full support for the establishment of this center to be an academic research platform on federal affairs in Iraq.
3. Dr. Najm Al-Deen M. Yaseen, director of the center, who, in cooperation with many professors and academic and political figures, contributed to the development of the basic building blocks of this center from the organizational and administrative point of view and drawing up the annual scientific program of the center with the participation and direct support of the presidency of the University of Duhok.
Second: The Advisory Council:
This body consists of a specific group of experts and academic, political, and cultural figures from inside and outside Iraq who have experience, experience, expertise, and interest in political affairs and who have serious and sober contributions in this regard. The task of this council is to provide advice on the development of the center's policy and support its activities, as well as to benefit from their expertise in the implementation of the scientific center's program and building and developing its scientific capabilities.
Third: The Scientific Council:
This body consists of a group of academics in the field of law and politics, specifically specialists in constitutional law and political systems, and those who certify their scientific competence, seriousness, sobriety, and objectivity in scientific research. the mission of this center is embodied in the development of the center's program and its annual and monthly plan, identifying topics and issues on which studies and research will be conducted, or holding conferences, seminars, and seminars, as well as working within research teams and studies that will be formed according to the center's program and schedule of scientific activities.
Fourth: The Administrative Body:
This body consists of the director of the center and the heads of scientific units who will supervise the implementation of the center's annual program in cooperation with the scientific council, each according to the unit and the tasks assigned to it. This body also includes the administrative staff who will work on the day-to-day running of the center and organize its administrative work, they will be among the official owners of the center.
The center consists of the following basic Units:
Scientific Studies and Research Unit
The task of this unit is to follow up and supervise the studies, research, field surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls that will be carried out by specialized research teams determined by the scientific body of the center and from outside, according to the annual program of the center's work and activities and the required expertise in various fields.
Seminars and Panel Discussions Unit
The task of this unit is limited to supervising the center's conferences, seminars, specialized workshops, and seminars and working to provide all the technical and logistical requirements required for such activities, according to the center's program and the new events that require the center to carry out scientific activity around them.
Public Relations and Media Unit
This unit is responsible for organizing and managing the center's external relations with academic institutions, research centers, and organizations (Iraqi, Arab, and international) concerned with federal affairs and coordinating with them to carry out joint activities and visits to benefit from their expertise in this field, in addition to its work in supervising everything related to the center's media and activities, as well as translation, printing and publishing Affairs.
