In a valuable humanitarian gesture, today, February 3, 2026, at the Presidency of the University of Duhok, Ms. Mona Kizilhan, the Administrative Director and Healthcare Manager at the renowned German MEDICLIN Clinic, presented a financial contribution of €10,000 to the Sinun Clinic of the Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology (IPP) at the University of Duhok. The check was officially presented at the University Presidency in the presence of Prof. Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok; Prof. Dr. Jan Ilhan Kizilhan, Dean of the Institute; and Dr. Buhar Issa, Assistant Dean.

It is known that this sum of money was raised during a charity concert by "Koma Amed" on November 29, 2025, at the royal palace in the city of Stuttgart, Germany, with the aim of supporting the survivors of terror who visit the Sinun Clinic to receive psychological treatment. In a statement, Ms. Mona Kizilhan highlighted the humanitarian message behind this initiative: "We will not forget you."

Finally, Prof. Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, on behalf of the University of Duhok, extended his warm thanks to Ms. Kizilhan, noting that this act is a cause for great respect and appreciation. He stated that this initiative is not only material support but also a powerful and highly valued message of humanity and compassion.
