Steering quality, from the classroom to accreditation.

Behind every programme, course and service at the University of Duhok sits a simple question: how do we know it is good, and how do we make it better? The QA Steering Committee answers it. Chaired by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, it brings together faculty from across the colleges, the Directorate of Quality Assurance, the Bologna Process Department, a student, an alumni representative and external experts. It develops and reviews quality policies, sets the indicators we measure ourselves by, oversees audits and programme reviews, strengthens teaching quality (including the Teaching Quality Assurance system: student feedback, CAD and teacher portfolio) and prepares the University for accreditation. Quality is everyone’s business; this is where its direction is set.
