The Pedagogical Training and Academic Development Centre is responsible for designing and delivering a wide range of training courses, workshops, seminars, and professional development programmes for academic staff and other professional personnel.

The Centre organises various training activities based on institutional needs and community demand. Since 2019, it has offered several capacity-building courses for university staff and members of the host community, including ICDL, English language, electronic accounting, office administration, SPSS, and other relevant capacity-building courses.

In addition, the Centre has provided specialised training for the staff of the Election Commission Directorate in Duhok. It has also organised several online seminars and webinars focusing on key educational topics, including e-learning and the Bologna Process.

Through these activities, the Centre continues to support academic development, professional capacity building, and knowledge exchange within the University and the wider community.
