Under the title "Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Through Coordination," the Center for Gender Equality Studies at the University of Duhok, in collaboration with an international expert from the Dutch (Tailor Made Training - Nuffic) project, conducted a series of workshops.

This project commenced on October 24, 2021, and its activities continued until January 12, 2022. During this period, 18 faculty members from various disciplines at the University of Duhok participated. To date, 4 workshops have been organized; due to preventive measures and the spread of the COVID-19 virus, 3 workshops were delivered online, while only 1 workshop was held in person at the Cultural Center of the University of Duhok.

The objective of these workshops and the continuation of this project is to enhance women's capacity and implement the principles of gender equality by strengthening collaboration between the University of Duhok and international organizations.
