Ms. Dileen Sardar Zuhdi, Director of the Center for Gender Equality Studies at the University of Duhok, authored an article for Avro Newspaper.

The article highlighted a training program organized by the Center for Gender Equality Studies for twenty women journalists from various media outlets in Duhok City.

Ms. Dileen emphasized that the four-day training program focused on equipping women journalists with the necessary skills to excel in their profession. She stated, "Our primary goal is to academically support women journalists, particularly those from Duhok City, in enhancing their media practices. We aim to assist them in avoiding common pitfalls, advancing their careers, and contributing effectively to the media landscape."

Ms. Dileen further expressed the Center's intention to continue offering such training programs in the future, ensuring that women journalists have ongoing opportunities for professional development and growth.
