Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at the University of Duhok conducted a two-day training workshop for the "Peace Pioneers" (Ruwad al-Salam) team, which is affiliated with the Department of Peace Studies and Human Rights. The workshop was presented by the trainer and expert, Mr. Khidr Domle.

Objectives of the Workshop:

This activity was organized to develop the capabilities of the participants, enabling them to conduct field visits to high schools across the Duhok Governorate. The main objective of these visits is to introduce the "Peace Studies and Human Rights" department and to highlight the importance of the university's efforts in spreading a culture of peace.

Key Themes of the Workshop:

Developing skills on the mechanisms and principles of managing seminars and discussion sessions.

Acquiring specific skills related to establishing and managing introductory and awareness meetings.

Organizing the promotional work for the department, which is the only department of its kind at the University of Duhok.

This work was carried out in coordination and cooperation between the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies and the Department of Peace Studies and Human Rights.
