University of Duhok and University of Diyala Sign Strategic Academic Cooperation Agreement During IICVMC2025

The University of Duhok (UOD) marked a significant milestone in fostering academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Diyala, on the second day of the First International Conference of Iraqi Veterinary Medicine Colleges (IICVMC2025).

The MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed Shukri Shukur, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at UOD, and Dr. Ammar Riyadh Qasim, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Diyala. The ceremony was held in the presence of UOD President Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, Dr. Nazar Amin, Director of International Relations, and Dr. Jowan M. Mohammed, Head of the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Basic Education.

This strategic agreement outlines several key areas of cooperation that aim to enhance inter-university collaboration and academic development:

  • Faculty and Student Exchange Programs
  • Co-Hosting Academic Events (Conferences, Seminars, Workshops)
  • Collaborative Development of Academic Programs and Curriculum
