University of Duhok (UOD), May 31, 2026, University Press Office (UNPO) | When we talk about graduation, we are not merely celebrating the completion of an academic stage; rather, we are celebrating the growth of a new generation of leaders who will advance our region. To highlight the graduation photoshoot of the College of Administration and Economics, we invite you to explore the stories and achievements of the graduates of the 31st cohort for the academic year 2025-2026.

About the College

The College of Administration and Economics, established on January 31, 1996, and located within the main university campus, is one of the fundamental scientific pillars and core colleges of the University of Duhok. It began admitting students in the 1996–1997 academic year, and since then, it has continuously prepared students for the labor market and community service. To date, 30 cohorts have graduated from this college.

The bachelor's degree program spans four years, alongside diploma, master's, and doctoral programs in certain departments. With its diverse specializations, the college consists of six main departments:

- Department of Economics

- Department of Business Administration

- Department of Accounting

- Department of Statistics and Informatics

- Department of Financial and Banking Sciences

- Department of Marketing Management

A New Generation of Administrative and Economic Leaders

Graduates from previous years are currently working in public and private sectors, banks, and various economic, administrative, financial, accounting, and statistical fields. Some also continue to pursue research and higher education.

As a modern step toward preparing this new generation, in 2025, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Administration and Economics initiated a Pilot Program for "Employability Skills" for fourth-year students across all scientific departments. In 2026, following the success of this project, the program was officially integrated into the fourth-year curriculum during the second semester. Furthermore, according to the plan, a second program focusing on "Entrepreneurship" will be implemented next academic year across all scientific departments.
