University of Duhok Advances Educational Innovation; Master’s Thesis Discussion on New Teaching Strategies

The University of Duhok, through the College of Education, hosted the master's thesis defense of researcher Maher Tahir Salih, on February 12,. The study highlighted the impact of modern teaching strategies on elevating students' scientific levels in Kurdish literature, serving as a step toward bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Educational Innovation in Teaching
The research, titled "The Effect of the LRD Strategy on Achievement and Information Processing," focused on shifting from traditional teaching methods to active learning styles. It utilized the LRD triangle (Listen, Read, Discuss) aimed at building a generation capable of analyzing and retaining information effectively.

Scientific and Practical Results
The study, conducted on 8th-grade students, revealed that implementing this strategy had a significant positive impact on raising student grades and developing their cognitive abilities, particularly in the areas of deep and detailed information processing.
