In continuation of its long-standing commitment to advancing medical education, scientific research, and professional development, the College of Medicine, University of Duhok organized the 7th “Day of Surgery in Duhok” Scientific Symposium, reaffirming the event as an important annual academic tradition at the University of Duhok (UOD).

The symposium was organized by the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine in collaboration with the Duhok General Health Directorate and Acino, and took place at CRIXUS Hotel with broad participation from medical specialists, surgeons, researchers, and academics from various surgery-related disciplines.

The event officially opened with welcoming remarks delivered by the Dean of the College of Medicine, who emphasized the importance of sustaining scientific dialogue and strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and healthcare professionals.

• Rare and complex surgical case reports
