University of Duhok, July 23, 2025 | University of Duhok Press Office (UNPO) – In a joyful and memorable atmosphere, the University of Duhok held a graduation photo session for its College of Basic Education students, 2024–2025 class, marking the culmination of years of academic dedication and achievement.

About the College

The College of Basic Education was officially established in 2003, having started as the “Teachers’ Department” under the College of Arts in 2002. It aims to prepare qualified educators and researchers capable of advancing the education sector and addressing life’s challenges through strong academic and pedagogical programs.

The college consists of eleven academic departments:

• Kurdish Language
• English Language
• Mathematics
• Kindergarten
• Special Education
• History
• Geography
• Science
• Educational Counseling
• Arabic Language
• Religious Education

The college offers Bachelor's degrees across all departments and Master's degrees in selected fields.

A Day to Remember

Surrounded by their professors, the graduates lived this milestone moment with gratitude and pride.

Looking Ahead

The graduates now move forward to serve in schools, educational institutions, and child development programs, both in the public and private sectors, at a time when the region needs more skilled and compassionate educators.
