Exploring Judicial Discretion and Fair Trial Standards in Criminal Law

UOD, April 30, 2025 – University Press Office (UNPO) | As part of its commitment to advancing academic dialogue and legal research, the College of Law at the University of Duhok (UOD), through its Quality Assurance Unit and in collaboration with the Department of Law, organized a scholarly seminar titled “Discretionary Authority of the Criminal Judge.” The session was presented by Professor Dr. Khalil Yousif Jundi, a distinguished faculty member and legal scholar.

The seminar was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, and forms part of the college’s weekly academic seminar program, which aims to encourage continual knowledge sharing, faculty development, and engagement with contemporary legal issues.
