Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, the UoD President met with the PDK 1^st Branch Representative and a number of student of the College of Medicine in the UoD and representatives of IFMSA. Different mechanisms and strategies were proposed in the meeting for strengthening the mutual relationships between the UoD and the Association as well as future collaborations and plans. 

Dr. Atrushi discussed the significance of creating connections between medical health specialists and professional and the other social sectors: “It is very essential to raise awareness regarding public health care which should not be restricted to specialists and professionals. This will reduce the number of clinical visits and help in a better health wellness and health management.”

Further discussions were made about the future projects of IFMSA and Dr. Osama Abdulla, the Head of the PDK 1^st Branch showed his deep support for the project as well as his readiness to collaborate with the UoD for raising public health care and wellness within the society.
