Applications Open for the Max Weber Postdoctoral Programme at the European University Institute

UoD, October 2, 2026 | University Press Office (UNPO) — The University of Duhok (UoD), through its Directorate of International Relations (DOIR), announces that applications are now open for the Max Weber Postdoctoral Programme at the European University Institute (EUI), Italy.

The programme provides an opportunity for early-career researchers in the humanities, social sciences, and history to further develop their academic careers, strengthen their research experience, and engage with an international academic community.

The Max Weber Programme offers fully funded postdoctoral fellowships, including a monthly stipend of €2,500, as well as additional benefits such as health insurance, research funding, and access to research facilities.

The programme is open to researchers of all nationalities worldwide. Applicants must have completed their PhD within the last five years.
