UOD, September 29, 2025, University Press Office (UNPO) | As part of a pioneering national project, the University of Duhok is developing an automated text-to-speech system for the Bahdini dialect. To achieve the goals of this project, we are seeking two talented and impactful voices to become the official "voices" of this important initiative.

We are looking for two skilled narrators (one female and one male) who are passionate about becoming a part of the history of integrating the Kurdish language (Bahdini dialect) with modern technology.

Do you have the necessary skills?

• Clarity: Can you read texts from various fields in a fluent and error-free Bahdini dialect?
• Correct Pronunciation: Can you articulate words and letters clearly and accurately?
• Emotive Voice: Can you convey feelings and emotions to the listener through your voice?

The Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of two stages:

1. Voice Sample Recording: In the first stage, applicants will be asked to record ten (10) specific sentences.
2. Expert Evaluation: Subsequently, a committee of experts will evaluate the samples. Through a voting process, one female and one male candidate will be selected as the winners.
