UOD, July 31, 2026, University Press Office (UNPO) | The Directorate of International Relations (DOIR) at the University of Duhok invites eligible staff to apply for the Shiraka Training Programme on Integrated Spatial Planning, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The two-week professional development programme is designed for civil servants and employees of semi-public organizations with 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as spatial planning, agriculture, environmental management, transport, or water management.

The programme aims to strengthen knowledge and practical skills in integrated spatial planning through expert-led sessions, study visits, and networking with professionals from across the MENA region.

Training Schedule:

• Part 1: 16–22 November 2026 – Utrecht/The Hague, Netherlands
• Part 2: January 2027 – Tunisia (date to be announced)
