August 24, 2026, University Press Office (UNPO) | The University of Duhok is pleased to announce a new opportunity under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme (KA171) at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, for the second semester of the 2026-2027 academic year (February–July 2027).

The mobility opportunity is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, as well as teaching staff, providing participants with an opportunity to strengthen their academic and professional experience, engage in international learning, and build connections with one of Europe’s leading universities.

Eligibility

Applicants are required to demonstrate a minimum B2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). English proficiency may be demonstrated through an official certificate or certification from the University of Duhok Language Center.

Required Documents

Depending on the applicant category, required documents include a CV, passport, motivation letter, academic transcript, learning agreement or research proposal, publications list, endorsement letter, and an acceptance/invitation letter from a Sapienza professor who will act as the academic supervisor.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to begin preparing their documents in advance, as all required materials will be considered during the academic evaluation process.
