UOD Announces Erasmus+ Mobility Opportunity at Sapienza University of Rome
UOD, August 16, 2025 – University Press Office (UNPO) | The University of Duhok is pleased to inform its students, master students, PhD candidates and teaching staff of a new opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program (KA171) at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. The program is open for the 2nd semester of the academic year 2025–2026 (February – July 2026) and is available at three levels:
- Undergraduate/Bachelor students
- Master’s students
- PhD candidates
- Teaching staff
This exchange program represents an important step in fostering academic mobility, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.
Eligibility
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum B2 English level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Proof of proficiency can be provided either through:
- Official certificates (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English exams), or
- Certification from the home university’s Language Center.

Important Notes
Applicants are strongly advised to prepare all required documents in advance, as they are mandatory for the evaluation process by Sapienza’s academic staff. The semester will begin in late February 2026 and end in July 2026, with examinations typically held in June and July.
