The University of Duhok announces a Diplomacy Program in partnership with the Institute of World Policy.

The University of Duhok announces for the academic year 2024-2025, a one-year professional diploma program in Diplomacy, in partnership with the Institute of World Politics (IWP) in Washington, with 25 students to be admitted.

The diploma certificate is collaborative, and the study program will be implemented between both institutions (College of Political Science at the University of Duhok and the Institute of World Politics in the United States).

Initial studies will be at the College of Political Science at the University of Duhok, followed by students continuing their studies at the Institute of World Politics in Washington. The Institute of World Politics in Washington is one of the most important academic institutions in America and globally in various specializations of political science - diplomacy, and especially security - protection, information and intelligence, and most graduates of this institute have high positions in political decision-making in America and the world.

Admission Requirements:

1. Must hold a Bachelor's degree
2. Must hold an English language certificate meeting one of these requirements: a. Pre-intermediate certificate (old system) or Intermediate (new system) from language centers at government universities in Kurdistan Region b. International IELTS-Academic score of (5) or its equivalents from (TOEFL-PBT 414, TOEFL-iBT 59, Pearson Academic-PTE 52)
3. Application period starts from 12/9/2024 until 25/9/2024
4. Interview on 29/9/2024, covering general topics, especially diplomatic subjects, in English, Kurdish and Arabic languages will be conducted at the college
5. First semester starts on 13/10/2024 at the College of Political Science, and the second half of the second semester will be studied in America
6. All costs for obtaining this certificate will be covered by the student, meaning it will be parallel study
