The University of Duhok announced that the university in-campus transportation system T-UoD has been activated and ready to operate since December 15, 2024, and now students, teachers and employees of the University of Duhok can benefit from this system.

The T-UoD campus transportation and taxi ordering system provides an easy and hassle-free means of transportation for everyone inside the University of Duhok through an application that works on IOS and Android systems.

The T-UoD program was issued as an initiative of the Department of Computer Science at the College of Science at the University of Duhok in coordination with the Presidency of the University of Duhok, and was worked on as part of the graduation project of a group of fourth-year students for the year 2023-2024.

The application is used to order taxis, know when buses arrive in the specific places, and provide private vehicles. So far, 75 taxis have been registered within the application and are currently ready to operate.

To benefit from this service, the application must be downloaded on mobile devices. Then the steps to register in the application should be performed. After registering and creating a private account, and by determining the person's current location and the destination he wants to go to, a taxi will be provided and an easy and modern transportation process will be implemented.

This project is one of the initiatives that the University of Duhok considers one of the most important priorities, as the University always aims to provide the necessary services to improve life on campus for students, teachers and staff.
