The University Event Management Office (UEMO) operates under a policy-driven framework in accordance with UOD’s Strategic Plan 2023–2038. All events must:
- Be formally proposed using the Event Report Form
- Align with UOD’s institutional objectives and academic calendar
- Undergo review, auditing, and approval by UEMO
- Be scheduled on the University Events Calendar
- Follow official Event Management Policies and Procedures
Once approved, events are announced across UOD’s digital platforms, coordinated with necessary logistics, and documented for future reporting
Collaborative Event Process
Colleges and units are encouraged to:
- Plan early and submit event details through the shared channels
- Ensure accuracy of information for media and scheduling
- Collaborate with UEMO for logistics, coverage, branding, and digital publishing
