In order to closely review the situation of the Media Directorate at the University of Duhok and discuss the plans and projects scheduled for implementation, the President of the University of Duhok, Professor Dr. Dawood Suleiman Atrushi, visited the University Media Directorate today, April 23, 2026. He was welcomed by Mr. Ismat Khabour, Director of Media, along with the Directorate’s staff.

During a meeting held on this occasion, the University President commended the efforts of the media staff, emphasizing the significant role played by the Media Directorate in conveying the University's voice to the wider community. He also noted that the University of Duhok’s media has become a leading example in the field of media and communications at the regional level.

The meeting also featured productive discussions between the University President and the media staff on matters related to the strategy and mechanisms of university media work, as well as the University’s future projects and initiatives, which will be announced in the near future.
