- The Directorate has been established in 1998.
General Tasks of the Directorate
The Directorate of Engineering & Projects is one of the directorates of the University of Duhok. It is responsible for preparing engineering designs, implementing and supervising the construction of university projects, as well as renovation and rehabilitation works for university buildings.
The Most Important Tasks of the Directorate
- Preparation of engineering designs and drawings for university projects.
- Preparation of engineering estimation sheets.
- Supervising and monitoring university projects according to Iraqi engineering standards and preparing progress reports.
- Tracking project contracts and change orders in coordination with the concerned entities.
- Executing maintenance and rehabilitation plans for university buildings.
- Preparing annual project plans according to the needs of the university's colleges and departments.
- Conducting laboratory tests and preparing technical reports.
- Providing technical and engineering consultancy to the University Presidency and colleges.
- Contributing to the development of the university's infrastructure and strategic plans.
