The Office of the Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs (VPAF) at the University of Duhok plays a significant role in steering the university towards institutional effectiveness and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness:
The VPAF Office leads the strategic planning for administrative functions, redesigning job structures, and refining operational mechanisms to enhance institutional performance. - Policy-Driven Operations:
By developing and implementing comprehensive policies, we ensure compliance, transparency, and consistency across administrative and financial activities. - Human Resources Leadership:
The office oversees workforce planning, job descriptions, and employee relations to foster a productive and supportive work environment. - Green and Walkable Campus Initiative:
We are committed to sustainability by engaging and supporting projects that transform the University of Duhok into a green, eco-friendly campus that promotes health, wellbeing, and environmental stewardship. - Health and Safety:
Establishing a safe and healthy environment for the university community. Ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive campus environment.
Our Sub-Directorates
The VPAF Office comprises five essential sub-directorates that work collaboratively to achieve our goals:
- Directorate of Administration:
Manages organizational structures, job roles, and operational efficiency. - Directorate of Finance:
Oversees financial planning, budget allocation, and regulatory compliance to support the university’s academic and operational priorities. - Directorate of Legal Affairs:
Handles the preparation and drafting of contracts, agreements, and ensures adherence to legal frameworks. - Directorate of Services:
