On Thursday, December 4, 2025, under the patronage of Dr. Dawood Suleiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok, the Gender Equality Studies Center, in cooperation with [LWF], organized an academic forum entitled “Voices of Peace and Security: From Violence to Peace through Empowerment.” This event was held within the framework of the 16 Days Campaign to End Violence against Women and Family Violence.
