Shahad Abdullah Mohammed is a peacebuilding and human rights professional with over ten years of experience bridging strategic management, humanitarian action, and community-based peacebuilding. She brings strong expertise in administrative leadership, coordination, and resource management, ensuring the effective delivery of programs in complex and fragile contexts.

Her work centers on advancing rights-based approaches, social inclusion, and equitable access to services for vulnerable and marginalized groups. Shahad has more than five years of specialized experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) with the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at the University of Duhok, where she has contributed to the design, monitoring, and continuous improvement of peace education and community-based peace initiatives.

Alongside her programmatic and M&E roles, she has supported the development of academic and training programs in conflict studies and peaceful coexistence, contributing to curriculum design aimed at strengthening social cohesion and dialogue among diverse communities in Duhok Governorate and beyond. She also participated in an academic exchange program with Justus Liebig University Giessen, focusing on women’s participation in dialogue, negotiation, and peace processes.
