Pakhshan Sadeeq Sidi

Pakhshan Sadeeq Sidi is a sociologist dedicated to peacebuilding and social cohesion, with three years of experience working with the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies. Her work focuses on contributing to projects related to peacebuilding, conflict management, coexistence, and women’s empowerment.
Throughout her professional experience, Pakhshan has actively engaged with stakeholders across the region, building strong relationships and supporting coordination and cooperation among partners. She has been involved in facilitating activities and managing project implementation, drawing on her strong organizational and communication skills.
As a certified Trainer of Trainers (ToT), she has supported training sessions and community-based activities, and she has also worked as a social media officer and volunteers’ supervisor for several multi-year projects.
Pakhshan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, graduating with a score of 95.8 and ranking first in the College of Humanities. Her academic research on violence on social media, using Duhok city as a case study, is currently used as a reference for undergraduate students. Her work reflects a strong commitment to research-informed practice, inclusive peace-building, and community engagement.
