University President Conducts Series of Faculty Engagement Visits
UOD, July 7, 2025 | University Press Office (UNPO) – As part of efforts to enhance communication and address academic needs across university colleges, Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok, recently conducted a series of meetings with faculty members at three colleges:
- College of Languages (June 24, 2025):
- Discussions covered ongoing academic projects and future university plans.
- The Kurdish Language Orthography Guide (Kurmanji dialect in Arabic script) was also a key topic.
- Discussions covered ongoing academic projects and future university plans.
- College of Basic Education (June 29, 2025):
- Reviewed plans for the final weeks of the academic year.
- Faculty members shared suggestions to improve scientific services and advance efforts toward academic accreditation.

- College of Law (July 2, 2025):
- President Atrushi, welcomed by Dean Professor Dr. Aveen Khalid Abdulrahman and College Council members, expressed gratitude to teaching staff for their efforts during the 2024–2025 academic year.
- Listened to faculty concerns to identify solutions and improve academic performance.

Across all visits, President Atrushi emphasized the university’s appreciation for faculty contributions and reaffirmed commitment to addressing challenges to further enhance academic quality and student services at the University of Duhok.
