📍UOD – June 5, 2025 📢 University Press Office (UNPO) | In alignment with its mission to boost graduate employability and connect academia with the private sector, the University of Duhok (UOD), through its Career Development Center (CDC), held its annual Job Fair 2025.

The event was inaugurated by UOD President Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi and Vice Presidents Dr. Lokman Hadi Hassan, Dr. Dilshad Abduljabbar Haleem, Dr. Nabaz Ibrahim Mohammed, Dr. Ahmed Khairadeen Ali, CDC Director, and Mr. Shukri Jameel Nouri, the Head of the Duhok Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of deans, faculty, students, and political representatives and parties from the local industries.

Key Features of the fair:

• Company Participation: Seventy two leading private-sector companies took part, offering real job placements and internships.
  
  
• Career Seminars:
  Delivered by Dr. Dilman Khoshavi Ramadhan, College of Administration and Economics,every hour, guiding students on job interview skills, CV Creation and professional readiness.
  
  
• Interview Room:
  Set up on-site to help graduates prepare CVs and conduct real-time job interviews with a number of companies.

This initiative supports:

• Enhancing Graduate Employability, through structured engagement with the labor market and job-preparation activities.
  
  
• Building Effective Institutional Partnerships, by bringing together academic institutions and the private sector to create pathways for student success.

UOD holds this sort of job fairs annually to support the young professionals and fresh graduates securing their dream jobs.
