UOD, June 3, 2025 | University of Duhok Press Office (UNPO) | The College of Nursing at the University of Duhok proudly celebrated its graduating class with an inspiring photo session.

Established in 2007, the college has become a cornerstone of nursing education in Duhok. It offers comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs that blend cutting-edge theory with hands-on clinical practice.

The college offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and advanced degrees at the master’s and doctoral levels. Since 2011, it has graduated more than 488 undergraduates and 41 master’s students.

The College has 4 departments: Community ‌Health Nursing and psychiatric Nursing, Adult and Fundamentals of Nursing, Maternity Health Nursing and Pediatric Nursing, and Basic Medical Sciences.

🎓 Celebrating the Graduating Class

This year’s graduates represent a new generation of skilled nurses ready to contribute to healthcare in Duhok, the Kurdistan Region, and beyond.

Graduates are expected to work in hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. Many will continue their studies or secure positions in key healthcare institutions, thanks to the college’s strong reputation and partnerships.

The graduation photo session was filled with emotional moments. Students posed with proud families, supportive faculty, and friends who shared their journey.

Smiles, cheers, and heartfelt words reflected the college’s motto: “Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow.” Professors honored graduates’ commitment and resilience, celebrating the bright future ahead.
