UOD, July 6, 2025 | UNPO – The University of Duhok hosted a joyful graduation photo session for the Class of 2024-2025 of the College of Dentistry , celebrating graduates ready to begin their careers in dentistry.

About the College
Established in 2008, the College of Dentistry stands as a cornerstone of the University of Duhok’s commitment to advancing oral health education and care in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. The college offers a rigorous five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, equipping students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience. Its mission is to prepare competent dentists who uphold the highest standards of patient care and ethics.

The college offers a five-year BDS program with six branches:

• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Conservatives
• Prosthodontic
• Periodontics & Oral Surgery
• Prevention, Orthodontic & Pedodontics
• Dental Basic Sciences
  
  

Graduates’ Future:
Most graduates plan to work in private clinics, pursue specialization, or join public hospitals, thanks to the college’s strong reputation and partnerships.

Celebration Highlights:
Family and friends joined graduates to capture memories, with compassion and the graduation theme, “Creating Smiles, Building Futures.”
