University of Duhok Opens Admission for Master’s Program at Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology Cooperatively with the German Baden Württemberg University
University of Duhok, Iraq – July 24, 2025, University Press Office (UNPO) | The Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology (IPP) at the University of Duhok (UOD) has officially opened the application process for its Master’s Program in Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology cooperatively with Baden Würrtemberg University in Germany, for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This specialized program addresses critical areas of mental health, offering advanced academic and practical training for graduates and professionals in related fields. With mental health gaining global attention, this program provides a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to individual and community well-being.
Application Period
Applications will be accepted from July 24 until August 17, 2025.
The number of available seats is 30 (parallel)
Early application is encouraged due to the program’s competitive nature and limited intake capacity.
Application Process
The application involves four main steps:
1. Initial Visit to the Institute
Applicants must begin by visiting the Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology in person. During this visit, they will:
- Fill out the paper application form
- Receive a unique application code required for the online portal
2. Payment of Registration Fees
Registration fees must be paid at the Accounting Directorate located at the University Presidency.
Applicants will receive an official payment receipt, which must be retained.
3. Legal Documentation
Applicants must visit the Legal Directorate at the university to complete formal procedures. This includes:
- Signing required legal documents
- Submitting necessary pledges in accordance with university policies
4. Online Registration
Using the issued code, applicants must access the digital application system to:
- Complete the online application
- Upload all required documents
