A seminar titled “the public policy of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s 9^th Cabinet: Opportunity and Obstacles,” was presented by Dr Jotiar Adil, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s spokesperson, to the students and academics of the College of Poltical Sciences in the University of Duhok in the Students’ Centre on the 3^rd of February 2022.

Dr. Jotiar started his seminar with a discussion about the most influential achievements of the KRG and referred to the KRG-Baghdad relations as well as international relations. He also talked about the government’s different services and its plans to improve the financial statues of the citizens. At the end of the seminar, Dr. Jotiar described the importance of freedom of expression according to set rules and the organization of the media and its different roles in Kurdistan Region. 

Dr. Jotiar further discussed the policy of the KRG towards the youth and explained:” the 9^th Cabinet of the KRG is very keen on providing employment opportunities for the youth and taking their patriotic contributions into consideration.”

The KRG Spokesperson further talked about the reforms proposed by the KRG in terms of the salaries and its organization as well as reforms in the companies’ contracts and the organization of taxes and income.

At the end of the seminar, academics and students were given an opportunity to discuss the different projects and policies of the KRG and ask Dr. Jotiar related questions.
