University of Duhok Announces The Honor Program for students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels with Fully Funded Training Opportunity in Italy

April 13, 2026, University Press Office (UNPO) | The University of Duhok is pleased to announce that applications are now open for The Honor Program, an international training initiative designed to support and develop high-achieving students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels.

This competitive program offers a two-phase learning experience aimed at enhancing academic, professional, and intercultural competencies.

Program Structure

  • Phase 1: Online Training
    • Selection of 100 students
    • 40 hours of intensive online instruction
  • Phase 2: In-Person Training in Italy
    • Top 50 students from Phase 1 will be selected
    • Two-week training program (60 hours total)

Scholarship Coverage (Phase 2)

Selected participants advancing to the second phase will receive a fully funded scholarship, including:

  • International travel (round-trip)
  • Accommodation in Italy
  • Full access to training activities
  • Program enrollment fees
  • Certificate of participation and/or completion

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must demonstrate a minimum B2 level of English proficiency
