UOD Announces Chevening Scholarship 2027–2028

The University of Duhok (UOD) announces that applications are open for the prestigious Chevening Scholarship 2027–2028, funded by the UK Government through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The scholarship provides full financial support for a one-year master’s degree in the United Kingdom, along with opportunities for leadership development, professional networking, and membership in the global Chevening Alumni Network.
Key Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of the Kurdistan Region.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of 65%.
- Meet the English-language requirements of their chosen master’s programme.
- Apply for a master’s programme in the same field as their bachelor’s degree.
- Government employees must meet the required period of service following their most recent degree.
Application Deadline: 6 October 2026
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official Chevening website.
