A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held a meeting with the administration staff in the UoD attended as well by the UoD president and his Vice-president for Administration and Financial Affairs for the sake of initiating the second stage of the electronic university.

The first stage of the electronizing the administration and HR issues in the Kurdistan Regional Government started late 2017. Preparations for the third stage, currently underway, indicate that the University will be able to electronize all its administrative issues as well as actively participate in the electronic government.

Describing the project, the UoD president asserted that: “the staff of administration in the UoD need to pay an utmost attention to the process of electonizing the administration issues and show its support to the plan set the KRG.” He also added that all shortcomings should be addressed.

Dr. Ahmad Mohammed, Voce-president for the Administrative and Financial Affairs, confirmed that “the UoD will pay all possible efforts to successfully accomplish this project.” The delegation, in a similar manner, indicated that the electronization process will substantially facilitate the work of the UoD as well as the Ministry.

At the end of the meeting, the staff of administration in the UoD and the delegation had a discussion about the procedures of this process.
