The staff and the students of Dentistry college involved a project had been held in the Health Awareness Week which was sponsored by KDHO.

The project carry out in four locations as following:

1. The event was at both girls and boys orphanages. The purpose behind this event was to check the dental health of those children. It also aimed on teaching the children how to brush their teeth. The event included distributing toothbrushes as well as applying fluoride treatment for them. On 13/3/2019.

2. Mahabad Coeducational Basic School in Duhok. The purpose behind this event was to spread the awareness of maintaining dental health and the correct way of brushing the teeth as well as applying fluoride treatment for 301 students. On 31/3/ 2019.

3. Family Mall in Duhok. The purpose behind this event was to spread the awareness of maintaining dental health and the correct way of brushing the teeth in a proper way. On 9/4/2019

4. Heevi Children Hospital in Duhok. The purpose was to visit the sick children and relieve their pain as well as ensuring them and their families that we are always here for them. It was also a good chance to show the children in the appropriate age the correct way of brushing their teeth and how to protect their teeth from decay. We also examined their teeth and distributed tooth brushes to the patients. On 11/4/ 2019.
