The University of Duhok (UOD) and Al Karkh University of Science formalized their commitment to scientific development through the signing of a Memorandum of Collaboration. The agreement, inked by Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, the President of the UOD, alongside the Vice President, the Director of International Relations, and the Dean of the College of Science, in conjunction with a high-level delegation from Al Karkh University of Science led by Dr. Thamer Abdulamir Hassan, the President of Al Karkh University of Science, outlines collaborative efforts in the realm of science.

This collaboration entails the exchange of academic staff between the two institutions and emphasizes the undertaking of joint scientific research projects.

On January 21, 2024, the visiting delegation from Al Karkh University of Science engaged in discussions with the UOD regarding various academic matters, highlighting the significance of collaboration and coordination. Finally, the two parties signed the Memorandum of Collaboration.
