Under the supervision of Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok, the Center for Gender Equality Studies at the University of Duhok, with sponsorship from the GAV Digital Media Agency, will conduct a training session titled "Empowering Journalists and Media Women" This initiative underscores the significant role of female journalists in the media landscape, recognizing their powerful capabilities in the field.

The Center for Gender Equality Studies will host a four-day training program aimed at enhancing the skills and awareness of women journalists. The program will cover a range of theoretical and practical subjects, including law, media work, journalism, and foundational professional skills.

These topics will be delivered through lectures, seminars, and group activities led by a team of specialist instructors.

The primary objective of this training is to empower women journalists by building their professional identities and equipping them to overcome the challenges they face in their work. This initiative aims to enable participants to address societal issues academically and constructively, avoiding violence and fostering understanding.
