With the aim of strengthening the capacity of community members, particularly the Summel youth from different backgrounds, as peace builders and to have coexistence in the area, the University of Duhok Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies conducted two trainings on “Community Conflict Management". 52 youths from different community groups , religious, ethnic and age participated . The three-day training is one of the center activities within the project of "Rights-Based Approach to SGBV and Social Cohesion among IDPs and the Host Community," in cooperation with BWA , supported by LWF and funded by ELCA and ACT.
