Seeking to develop sports facilities and activities, the university established its first Sports Body in November 1995.

The university provides separate sports facilities for male and female students.

A wide variety of sports activities are readily available such as soccer, basketball, chess, table tennis, swimming and volleyball.

Students have access to updated sporting facilities and are encouraged to take part in tournaments with other universities in the Region.
