Research Overview: Unveiling New Soliton Solutions

The study focuses on the nonlinear conformable Schrödinger equation, a fundamental model in describing wave propagation in nonlinear media. By employing two analytical methods—the modified simplest equation approach and the Kudryashov approach—the research derives various optical soliton solutions, including:

  • Kink-Type Solitons: Waveforms that maintain their shape while traveling at constant speeds, crucial for stable signal transmission.
  • Mixed Dark-Bright Solitons: Structures combining characteristics of both dark and bright solitons, enhancing versatility in optical systems.
  • Bright Solitons: Localized pulses of light that can travel long distances without changing shape, essential for long-haul optical communications.
  • Wave Solitons: Stable wave packets that can interact without losing their identity, important for complex signal processing.

These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of soliton dynamics in weakly non-local media, paving the way for advancements in designing efficient optical communication systems and photonic devices.

International Collaboration: Strengthening UOD's Research Network
