UOD Holds the Graduation Photo Session of the College of Political Sciences Class of 2024–2025
UOD, July 14 2025 | University Press Office (UNPO) — The College of Political Sciences at the University of Duhok, established in 2020, marked a proud moment as it engaged in a graduation photo session for the Class of 2024–2025. The event, held on campus, brought together graduates, faculty, and some family members in a joyful tribute to academic achievement and future promise.
As one of UOD’s youngest and most dynamic colleges, the College of Political Sciences specializes in preparing students to understand and engage with the complex political, legal, and administrative structures of society. The college offers a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, emphasizing academic excellence, national awareness, and constructive political participation. It teaches students in two departments:
This year’s graduating class represents the second cohort of the college since its founding. Graduates are expected to contribute to fields such as public administration, civil service, diplomacy, international organizations, and research centers.
The atmosphere was filled with pride and excitement, with students proudly wearing their caps and gowns as cameras captured lasting memories. Faculty members congratulated graduates and emphasized the importance of their roles in shaping the future of governance and civic life in the Kurdistan Region.
This session reflects the college’s mission to nurture a new generation of leaders who are informed, responsible, and committed to the values of peace, justice, and democratic participation.
