Iraq’s Political Future in Focus: UOD and Salahaddin University Examine the Post–October 7 Landscape

The College of Political Sciences at the University of Duhok (UOD), in collaboration with the College of Political Sciences at Salahaddin University–Erbil, held an insightful symposium titled “The Dimensions of the Iraqi Parliamentary Elections amid Middle East Changes After October 7, 2023.”
The event aimed to analyze the evolving regional dynamics and their implications for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, aligning with UOD’s strategic vision to foster research-based policy dialogue and regional expertise.

Distinguished Academic Participation

The symposium was attended by:

  • Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok

  • Dr. Nabaz Ibraheem Mohammed, Vice President for Students Affairs
