Celebrating Achievement: Graduates of the College of Science (CSCN) Embark on Bright Futures
UOD, June 19, 2025, University Press Office (UNPO) | The University of Duhok (UOD) proudly held the graduation photo session of a distinguished cohort of students from the College of Science (CSCN), one of the University’s foundational academic pillars. Situated at the heart of UOD’s campus, CSCN has been instrumental in advancing scientific knowledge and research since its establishment in 1997.
The College of Science (CSCN) is home to several specialized departments, it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a range of scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Geology. These programs provide students with in-depth theoretical and practical training, enabling them to make vital contributions across sectors ranging from education and research to industry and environmental sustainability.
This year, graduates completed their academic journey, marking a milestone not just for themselves but also for the scientific community in the Kurdistan Region. Many of these graduates are set to pursue careers in education, research institutions, laboratories, IT companies, and environmental agencies, while others have plans to continue their studies at the postgraduate level, contributing to the scientific development of the region.
A Day of Pride, A Future of Possibilities
The graduation event was filled with touching moments. The event embraced the theme “Science for a Sustainable Future,” emphasizing CSCN’s commitment to both local development and global scientific standards.
