UOD, July, 2026| University Press Office (UNPO) – The University of Duhok proudly celebrates the graduation of a new cohort from the College of Basic Education, recognizing students who have successfully completed their academic journey and are now ready to contribute to the future of education and society. About the College

The College of Basic Education is one of the University's leading academic institutions dedicated to preparing highly qualified teachers, educators, researchers, and academic leaders. Through a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge, practical training, multidisciplinary research, and the integration of modern educational technologies, the College equips graduates with the professional competencies needed to meet the evolving demands of contemporary education.

The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate education through 12 academic departments:

Today, the College serves 2,670 undergraduate students and 110 postgraduate students, supported by 210 academic staff members, 125 employees, and three specialized laboratories. Since its establishment, the College has proudly graduated more than 10,462 educators and professionals who continue to serve schools, educational institutions, and communities across the Kurdistan Region and beyond.
