UOD Announces BSc, MA and PhD Student Exchange Opportunity at the University of Oldenburg, Germany for (2026/2027)

The University of Duhok (UOD) is pleased to announce a self-funded student exchange opportunity for the academic year 2026/2027 in partnership with University of Oldenburg, Germany. This initiative reflects UOD’s ongoing commitment to international academic collaboration, student mobility, and global learning engagement.

Program Overview

Eligible students will have the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters across a wide range of academic disciplines. Courses are offered in both English and German, enabling students to enhance their academic experience within a dynamic European learning environment.

Language Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate a minimum level of language proficiency as follows:

  • B1 level (preferred B2), or
  • IELTS: 4.0
  • TOEFL iBT: 42
  • TOEIC: 550 (Listening), 120 (Reading), 120 (Speaking)

Important Note: A B2 level is mandatory for applicants to the following programs:

  • Institute for English and American Studies
  • European Studies in Global Perspectives (EuGl)
  • Education and English International Master’s Programs

  • July 1, 2026 – Winter Semester or Full Academic Year
  • January 1, 2027 – Summer Semester
