UOD Announces Two PhD Mobility Opportunities at Italian Partner Universities: University of Pavia and University of Padova

The University of Duhok (UOD) is pleased to announce PhD mobility opportunities for the first semester of the academic year 2026–2027 at two prestigious European partner institutions: the University of Pavia (Italy) and the University of Padova (Italy).

These mobility programs aim to enhance international academic collaboration, support research development, and provide UOD PhD candidates with valuable international experience aligned with the University’s strategic focus on global engagement and academic excellence.

Eligibility Requirements

  • PhD candidates must demonstrate a good command of the English language.
  • Applicants are required to obtain an official acceptance letter from a supervisor at the host university.

Program Details

  • Duration: One semester (First semester, 2026–2027)
  • University of Pavia: Limited to three specialties (as announced by the host institution). The specialties included are:
  • Human and Social Sciences
  • History of Africa
  • Political Sciences
  • University of Padova: Applicants may explore available specialties via the official website:

    Please note: Medicine and Primary Education internships are not available for exchange.
